    Position Overview

    We are looking for a career minded person to grow their career in this fast-paced environment.  The Staff Accountant will be an integral part of our corporate accounting team contributing to the continued success of IMT.  Reporting to the Controller, the staff accountant will be responsible for a wide variety of accounting duties, including:

    • Analyzing general ledger accounts and recording journal entries
    • Maintaining integrity of accounting data through documentation
    • Supporting multiple annual audits
    • Preparing ad-hoc financial reports or analyses 
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements
    • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets
    • Compile and analyze financial data and prepare related journal entries
    • Maintain and report escheated funds
    • Review monthly bank reconciliations
    • Monitor and support property taxation issues

    Please apply if you have:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
    • 1+ years accounting experience including general ledgers and reconciliations preferred
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles including GAAP
    • Solid analytical skills including efficient problem solving and the ability to understand big picture concepts
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability and desire to work in a team environment
    • Advanced Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables
    • CPA certification is a plus
    • Public accounting experience is a plus
    • Real estate accounting experience is a plus
