    Position Overview

    Reporting to the Controller, the Payroll Lead, along with an Analyst and Staff Accountant, performs all payroll processing and recordkeeping.

    • Process and direct accurate and timely payrolls for 600 associates in 7 states in compliance with IMT policies and federal and state regulations
    • Lead, motivate and develop the Analyst and Accountant
    • Ensure all new hires, associate changes and terminations are processed accurately and timely
    • Work with HR on a regular basis to assure complete coordination of pay, benefits and deductions
    • Oversee disbursement requests for associate rent deductions
    • Review all uploads and use control totals to reconcile payroll preview before processing
    • Review all bonuses, commissions and reimbursements to ensure correct dates and chargeback entities
    • Review all garnishment setup and notify the associate of the garnishment  
    • Review all payroll audits before payroll is processed  
    • Process and commit payroll
    • Maintain knowledge of current regulatory and reporting requirements
    • Collaborate with the Accounting and HR departments to improve processes and procedures
    • Assist with special projects as needed

    Please apply if you have:

    • 4+ years in-house, full cycle payroll processing experience
    • Education in accounting
    • Certified Payroll Professional desirable
    • Strong understanding of payroll procedures and legislation
    • Leadership skills
    • Service mentality with a strong sense of urgency to respond to inquiries and requests
    • Ability to work successfully with a variety of people
    • Strong, positive interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to anticipate problems and find a sound solution when they occur
    • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
    • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including intermediate level Excel
    • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce a strong plus
