    IMT is growing our California portfolio! We just purchased a 510-unit luxury community in Valencia, IMT Stevenson Ranch, and are hiring an Assistant Service Manager.

    Position Overview

    As the Assistant Service Manager, you will be the Service Manager's right hand in maintaining the property. 

    • Diagnose and solve maintenance issues in the apartment homes, exterior and common areas ranging from plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, appliances and pools
    • Prepare apartments for new residents in a timely manner following IMT standards
    • With the Service Manager, lead, train and mentor the team
    • With the Service Manager, ensure the quality of work performed by the team and vendors meets IMT standards
    • Perform daily maintenance of property grounds for excellent curb appeal
      Additional projects and/​or duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Community Manager


    Please apply if you have:

    • Residential property management maintenance experience
      Hands-on maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc.
    • A positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills
    • Leadership abilities
    • Customer service and verbal communication skills
    • EPA Type II or Universal certification is required; CPO is a plus
    • Availability to be on-call (rotating with the Technicians) to address any emergencies
