    Position Overview

    As a key member of our 3 person HR team which includes the HR Director and 2 Generalists, the HR Generalist will provide support to our 600 associates located in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, TN and TX in the implementation and execution of processes and programs in associate relations, benefits and compliance.

    • Provide customer-centric, responsive and accurate information to internal clients through phone, in-person and email interactions
    • Emphasize the importance of building healthy teams and business relationships through empathy, respect, fairness and adherence to applicable state and federal laws
    • Address associate relations concerns ensuring a timely response, and coach the associates and managers for effective resolution
    • Manage the leaves of absence and associate termination processes
    • Manage the onboarding process for typically 2-5 new associates each week
    • Partner with the Risk Management department regarding worker compensation claims
    • Maintain and input accurate HRIS data
    • Assist with the administration of IMT’s benefit plans to include facilitating informational sessions, clearly communicating options to associates and processing monthly billings
    • Process benefit enrollments and changes for new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, COBRA-eligible events and open enrollment
    • Complete special projects, as directed

    Please apply if you have:

    • HR Generalist experience; multi-site and multi-state experience a plus
    • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
    • PHR or SPHR designation helpful
    • Solid knowledge of CA employment laws; knowledge of  laws in AZ, CO, FL, GA, TN and TX  helpful
    • Effective consultative approach with associate relations issues
    • Knowledge of leave of absence laws and the interactive process
    • General knowledge of benefit programs and administration
    • Highly adaptable, flexible and attentive to details
    • Professional verbal and written communication skills and presentation
    • Customer service focused
    • Tactful, empathetic and able to maintain confidentiality
    • Good project management skills including the ability to manage tasks and accomplish goals
    • The ability to work independently and to use good judgment in decision making
    • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    • Flexibility for occasional travel for investigations, onboarding or other needs
