RIATA is hiring a Village Manager for Grey Moss, 187-unit community.


Riata is a completely unique community consisting of 2,044 apartment homes spread across 160 lushly landscaped acres and centralized around a beautiful Town Center. Set among a tranquil lakeside setting with lush natural greenbelts, miles of trails, and loaded with impressive features and amenities, RIATA possesses a feeling more reminiscent of a luxurious resort than the average apartment community.

Position Overview

The Village Manager is the business leader for the property ensuring a positive working environment, quality community living, and a high standard of operations to meet IMT’s objectives. 

  • Lead and develop your Assistant Village Manager
  • Drive financial results to meet IMT’s income and expense goals
  • Renew existing goals
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure apartments are ready for move in
  • Partner with your Service Manager to ensure property site conditions are in good working order with excellent curb appeal
  • Maintain an open door policy with residents to provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships
  • Adhere to Fair Housing laws, regulations, and IMT’s policies and procedures
  • Perform bookkeeping and financial tasks including rent collection, delinquency, and collecting final move-out balances 
  • Additional projects and/​or duties as assigned by the Senior Community Manager and Director of Operations

  • Multi-family housing management experience
  • Knowledge of property bookkeeping and financials
  • The ability to connect with a variety of people and successfully lead a team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
  • The ability to work well in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment
  • The ability to work well independently and make sound business decisions
  • A positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills
  • Computer skills with MRI experience a plus
  • College education helpful
  • ARM or CAM designation a plus
