Job Location Details

Riata is a 2,044 apartment home community spread across 160 lushly landscaped acres. Setting the standard of excellence in Austin apartment living, Riata offers expansive one, two, and three bedroom floorplans that include stone-style or wood-style flooring, granite countertops, built-in shelving, and more.

Position Overview

The Make Ready Manager leads the apartment make ready process for the community.  You will be responsible for turning approximately 500 units per year adhering to the schedule and budget while meeting IMT's quality standards.

  • Lead and motivate a team of 9 maintenance associates and vendors contracted
  • Efficiently manage apartment make ready process to achieve the target average turn time of 7 days
  • Walk units after move-out to assess charges and determine scope of work
  • Schedule Make Ready Technicians and vendors to service the units
  • Personally inspect each market-ready unit to ensure that IMT standards have been met
  • Order supplies and control expenditures within budget guidelines
  • Report directly to the Service Manager and Director of Operations
  • The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 with some overtime as needed

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and administrative skills
